How Counselling in Vaughan Has ChangedAs our politicians, citizens, and community leaders continue to climb the uphill battle of finding viable solutions to our healthcare infrastructure concerns in Vaughan, we are still a long way from serving our community mental/physical healthcare needs. We recognize this concern and have supported all causes to help bring healthcare options to our community.
As a response to the mental health concerns highlighted in the public eye, we have developed a staff of highly qualified therapists that can help you with your counselling needs. Long before, Vaughan has lacked the infrastructure to provide highly specialized counselling care for its residents. We have also sought out funding to help develop a care facility that has been recognized for its care, compassion, integrity, and dedication to serving the public.
Since beginning our initiatives to serve the community, we have been asked to lift our catchment area restrictions (now serving the Greater Toronto Area). Some of our clients travel from as far as Georgetown, Waterloo, and Guelph to seek out counselling from our professionals. We are honoured to see this level of commitment from our clients and as a return, we can continue to promise that our services are conducted professionally and done so by experts in the field.
As our community continues to grow, we will continue to support and dedicate time to ensure that we have the staff available to meet this demand. We recognize that the public perception of mental health care has changed and more and more people are finding it acceptable to seek help from a professional. We ask that you continue to challenge the stigma and help family/friends reach out when in need. To no surprise, therapy is in fact therapeutic and can help prevent one bad situation from getting worse.
